This month’s Volunteer Spotlight is on our Ladies Head Coach Nick Akerman.
Here’s what two of our ladies had to say about Nick when they put his name forward for our club’s monthly recognition, in association with Gio’s Italian in Hipperholme.

“Nick is not only the coach of our team, but a friend and mentor to all of us.
He spends so much time planning fun training sessions for all of us. Sharing videos, games we need to watch and more.
All of his free time is taken up with coaching up, coming to our matches and more. His door is always open to any of us and we’d be lost without him.”

“Nick is always trying to better the team in a positive and light manner which makes everyone new and old smile and feel very at ease. He's an all round amazing person and coach.”

The next Ladies match kicks off at 2pm this Sunday (8th Jan) at home against Huddersfield Laund Hill.
